Margaret (Peg) McCormick is a nurse-psychotherapist and founder of McCormick Counseling, Coaching and Consulting​, a practice specializing in working with individuals dealing with the emotional impact of physical or psychological illness and the questions these experiences raise. Through her training and education, her professional background and her life-experiences, Peg has come to understand that all aspects of one's life impact emotional well-being; that there are physical roots of emotional distress and emotional causes of physical illness. Peg utilizes a variety of modalities in her work with clients including among others, unconditional positive regard, mindfulness and other meditative practices, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Peg earned her bachelor’s of science in nursing from the University of Minnesota, her masters in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and her masters in transpersonal counseling psychology from Naropa University.
