I'm an integrative psychiatrist specialized in treating complex trauma, anxiety, and depression with the combination of medicine and psychotherapy. I have clinical interests in the mental health impacts of climate change, as well as the therapeutic use of placebo. In addition to prescription medications, I am trained in the use of herbs and supplements to support mental health. In terms of therapy, I draw on psychodynamic, somatic, and narrative approaches; I believe it is genuine human connection that heals. I seem to work with a lot of highly sensitive people (HSPs) and folks who like to joke around with their doctor.
