Karl is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience serving adults with mood, thought, anxiety, trauma, eating, and substance use disorders. He believes in educating clients on the intricacies of the mental health system and advocating for their recovery. He believes medications play a powerful – yet in some cases proportionally small – role in mental health recovery. He is authentic, direct, and empathetic.

Karl advocates for those who are less fortunate than he is, especially those who are mentally unwell, hungry, unhoused, marginalized, or victims of gun violence.

Karl's practice, Sensible Mental Health, offers cost certainty, accessibility, and convenience. Clients have clear pricing, multiple communication options, the flexibility of telehealth or in-person appointments, and an assurance that their needs will be met promptly and with compassion.
